Traveling in Haiti
Here are some of our kids making "God's Eyes"with popsicle sticks and
yarn with their Haitian "twins" at N a Sonje. When we left the
countryside yesterday we had a long , dusty and hair-raising trip in two
open trucks down to Port-au-Prince! The road was under construction
and had steep ledges and bumps . . .quite an obstacle course, but a trip
none of us will soon forget. It is typical of Haitians that total
strangers stopped in the street to help our drivers navigate the steep
pitches and direct them to the safest route. So now we are at Walls'
Guest House.
